Tricolour eggless vanilla pastry

For Sponge :
  1. 250 grams(1 cup) All purpose Flour (Maida)
  2. 1 cup Powdered Sugar
  3. 1/2 tsp. Salt
  4. 1/4 cup vegetable oil 
  5. 1/2 cup milk
  6. 1/4 cup yogurt
  7. 1/4 cup milk powder
  8. 1 tsp Baking Powder
  9. 1 tsp Vanilla Essence

For frosting:

  1. As needed Gel Food Colours-orange and green
  2. Whipped Cream(sweetend)
  3. For Sugar Syrup (1 tbsp sugar ,1/2 cup water)

For decoration:

  1. White chocolate
  2. Pipeing bag
  3. Nozzle
  4. Blue gel food colour

Steps

For Sponge – Firstly, Take a large bowl.Add flour,baking powder, salt.

Take another bowl.Add milk,yogurt, milk powder,vanilla Essence and milk powder in it and pour it in the large bowl.

Then mix this for about 2 mins and make a smooth batter.

Now, Take a round shaped mould. Apply some oil on the mould and place a parchment paper .

Now, pour the batter in  mould. Tap mould for atleast 10 times to remove any air bubbles.

Pre – Heat the oven @ 180 °C for about 10 mins. .you can use aluminium bowls.

After Pre – Heating the oven bake these Cakes ,about 40mins.

Now take the cakes out of the oven and cool it for about half an hour.

Cut the sponge in 3 layers.

Now take 1 cup  Non – Dairy chilled whipping cream. Beat it properly for about 10-12 mints.

Now take a Cake Board, apply some cream on it. Keep the Sponge,apply some sugar syrup on it. Apply some whipping Cream on it. Then take the 2 nd layer Sponge and keep it on the on the whipping Cream. Apply some sugar syrup on it and put some whipping cream on it. Then take the 3 rd layer Sponge. Keep it on the whipping cream. Put sugar syrup on it. And apply some whipping cream on it and cover the sides of the cake with whipping cream as well. (Crumb Coating Is Done.)

Keep the Cake in the Fridge for about half an hour.

After half an hour, take the Cake out of the Fridge. Apply some whipping cream with the help of Palette Knife on it. Now, Keep it in the fridge.

Use one nozzle and decorate the whole cake 3 colours cream . Decorate the whole cake same design.

I make the sokh chakra by white chocolate. 1st I melt the white chocolate and mix the blue gel food colour then draw an asokh chakra on a plastic shit. Then refrigerate it for 10 min . Then set place the asokh chakra center of the cake. Then refrigerate the cake atleast half an hour.

  1. Our Tri – Colour Cake is ready to Serve.
