Presenting a new chicken recipe

With the food I added one of my glass paintings as its about Independence day…

Ingredients for the recipe:-


Chicken-500 gms
Tomato- 1 chopped
Onions- 2 chopped
Turmeric powder- 1tbsp

For paste(cafreal mixture)
Garlic- 8 cloves
Ginger- 2 inch
Coriander leaves – 1 cup
Cardamom- 2
Cloves- 4
Cinnamon stick -1 inch
Black pepper- 6
Bay leaf – 1
Cumin seeds – 1 tsp
Lemon juice- 2tbsp
Water- 2tbsp


At first marinate the chicken with salt and turmeric powder and keep it covered for 1hour.

Then make a mixture with all the spices described above and make the cafreal mixture.

Then take a kadhai, add ghee then chopped onions , fry them until golden.

Then add the marinated chicken into it and cook for 5 mins.

Then add the cashew and tomato paste into it.

Then cover it with a lid for 10 mins.

Then remove the lid and add the cafreal mixture and again cover it for 10 mins by adding water.

Remove the lid and chicken cafreal is ready to be served.
